The potato hot appetizer is a warm starter loved at any age, prepared by tossing wedge cut potatoes with spices and roasting them crisp in the oven. On Gaziantep tables, hot appetizers sit between cold mezes and the main course, and the spiced potato is one of the most practical and satisfying stops in that transition.

In the traditional preparation the potatoes are cut into wedges and tossed well with olive oil, salt, black pepper, red pepper flakes, thyme and cumin. To keep the outside crisp they are arranged in a single layer on a tray and roasted until golden. The balance of spices gives the plain potato an appetizing depth.

With its crisp outside and floury soft inside, it is irresistible when eaten hot. It goes perfectly on its own as a snack, alongside sauces, or as a side dish with meat and chicken dishes. It becomes the plate that children and adults reach for first at the table.

At Antepside we prepare it with fresh potatoes every day. It reaches your address cooked and ready to serve, packaged to keep its freshness. All you need to do is warm it briefly in the oven or a pan and bring it to your table. An effortless, crisp hot appetizer.

The product reaches you cooked and ready to serve. You can warm it for a few minutes in the oven or briefly in a pan and serve it hot. Garlic yoghurt or a spicy sauce pairs very well with it.
